A national program for young Canadians aged 12 to 18 who are interested in participating in a variety of fun, challenging and rewarding activities while learning about the Army activities of the Canadian Armed Forces.
Cadets are encouraged to become active, responsible members of their communities and make valuable contributions to Canadian society.
Army Cadets appeal to teenagers craving exciting outdoor activities where their personal limits as individuals and team-members will be tested. Cadets develop abilities in the use of map and compass, GPS technology, orienteering, first-aid, camping and survival skills, canoeing, abseiling, trekking, mountain biking, etc.
We meet at Orleans Wood Elementary School, 7859 Decarie Dr. You can find us there Wednesday evenings from 1830-2100h
Army Cadets are a not-for-profit organization supported, but not funded, by the Canadian Armed Forces. We depend on the generosity of the community to help make these opportunities available to our youth.
The recent COVID-19 pandemic has put a stop to our regular fundraising activities. The 3018 Cadet Corps is even more dependant on your financial support and generosity. If you would like to make a donation to the 3018 Cadet Corps please use the button above. Tax receipts may be provided upon request.
